Prove that P is a state function and hence dp is an exact differential(please explain the partial differentiation procedure)(Question of RC Mukherjee)

State function sgive exact differentials. These exact differentials cannot be integrated between limits, without regard of the actual change that occur as the system moves from one limiting conditions to other.
 
To prove P as a state function and a exact differential let us take the reference of vanderwaals equation according to which -
