Prove that among all the chords of a circle passing through a given point inside the circle that one is the smallest which is perpendicular to the diameter passing through the point.

OB (diameter) is perpendicular to red line
OA is drawn perpendicular to blue line
if we prove OB is greater than OA 
then the red line is away from the centre as compared to the blue line
so, the red line is smaller
now OAB is a right-angled triangle
so OB is greater than OA
