Let us assume a cuurent i is circulating in the loop as shown in figure.
Current i is obtained by applying Kirchoffs voltage law. Let us strat from cell-1 and go through clockwise direction and complete the loop.
we have, -6 +i +2 +3i = 0 or i = 1 A
potential difference across cell-2 will be obtained by calculating potential difference between A and B.
Hence potential difference across cell-2 = 3×1+ 2 = 5V
