total current = 0.455 A
 
(c) total power = 100 w = 100 J/s
for 1 hour operation, energy consumption = 100×3600 J = 3,60,000 J
 
Energy consumption in commercial unit = ( 0.1 kW )× (1 hr) = 0.1 kWh
