Answer:

let the speed be v km/hr and distance be skm,

45 min = 3/4 hr and 36 min= 3/5 hr

then 30/v + (s-30)/ (0.8v) = s/v  + 3/4

and 48/v + (s-48)/(0.8v) = s/v + 3/5

so we have two equatons and two variables s and v.

solve for s and v.
