Resistance can't change, except by increase or decrease of temperature. The increase of temperature can be brought up by passing high amounts of electric currents.

Resistance is the propotionality constant, Ohm's law says that electric current flowing is propotional to the potential difference, AT GIVEN CONDITIONS, OF CONSTATN TEMPERATURE, MATERIAL OF WIRE.
