In formation of negatively charged colloidal [AgI]I-
Ag comes from AgNo3 and Iodine comes from KI.This is negative sol so I - which comes from KI should have more number of moles than AgNO and two moles of KI are required for one mole of AgNO3 (one for AgI and one for I- ). So we can say number of moles of KI should be double of number of moles of AgNO3.
