Expert Answer
1) The three circuits provided have a resistor, a capacitor, and an inductor, respectively.
2) The resistance of the devices are R, XC = 1/(2πfC) and XL = 2πfL, respectively.
3) When the frequency increases, there is no change in the resistance of the resistor (R). So, the current remains the same in the circuit having R.
4) When the frequency increases, the capacitive reactance decreases. Therefore, the current in the circuit having C increases.
5) When the frequency increases, the inductive reactance increases. Therefore, the current in the circuit having L decreases.
