Let a be the first term and d is the common difference
Second term of A.P. + Seventh term of A.P = t2 + t7 = (a +d)+ [ a+6d ] = 2a + 7d = 30 ....................(1)
15th term = t15 = a + 14d
8th term = t8 = a+7d
It is given that, t15 +1 = 2×t8 ; hence a+14d+1 = 2×(a+7d) = 2a+14d or a = 1
By using the value of first term in eqn.(1), we get d = 4
Hence A.P is with first term a = 1 and common difference d = 4
