This is solved example. A roller is raised on the pavement. Point X shown in figure is the reference point.
The roller is rotated about this point by two forces F1 and F2.
Torque of the force is product of force and the perpendicular distance between the force and the point about which the object is rotated.
 
For force F1, perpendicular distance is equal to diameter of circle, 0.4 m
For force F2, perpendicular distance is equal to radius of circle, 0.2 m
