This question is solved using conservation of linear momentum.
 
Projectile upward velocity after 5 seconds, just before explosion = u - g×t  = 100 - 10×5 = 50 m/s
(for conveneience of calculation I assume g = 10 m/s2 )
 
momentum before explosion = 50×50 = 2500 kg m/s ..........(1)
 
Let the 30 kg fragment velocity is v after explosion.
 
Total linera momentum after explosion = 20×150 + 30×v .........(2)
 
By equating (1) and (2) , solving for v, we get v = -50/3 m/s 
 
Hence the other fragment moving vertically downwards with velocity (50/3) m/s
