Expert Answer
Hi Komal,
Hysterisis curve represents the relation between magnetic induction of a feromagnetic material with magnetic intensity. Hysteresis curve represents the behaviour of a material through a cycle of magnetization. The basic use of hysteresis curve lies in the selection of suitable materials for different purposes like electromagnets, transformers etc. The choice is according to the properties like retentivity, energy loss etc , which can be understood from the hysteresis loop.
