In order to determine the balance as per Cash Book, following effects are necessary:
Overdraft as per pass book                     25,000
Add: Payment directly received in bank    7,500
        Cheque issued but not presented     6840
        Interest on investment                    700
Less: Bank Charges                                 500
        Recorded in cash book                    7000
        Interest debited by bank                  380
        Cheque deposited not collected        4750
        Bill dishonoured                              3600 
Overdraft as per Cash Book                     23810
