1. There are many ways in which a farmer can give the land of shape as that of an equilateral triangle of side 100 m to his friend. You can draw any one way.

 

Area of the plot of land = ?3/4 * (300)2 sq m

(Since, the land is in the shape of equilateral triangle)

 

2. Area of the land given by the farmer to his friend =  ?3/4 * (100)2 sq m

 

3. Value depicted by the farmer: Empathy, respect for friendship, generous

 

4. The friend first refused to take the land. Afterwards, he agreed to take the land but paid the rent for it. This depicts that he is a man with self respect. He did not want anyone's favour. He was poor, still he paid the rent and decided to keep his production. This also shows that he is a hard worker.
