when the particle-A and particle-B collides in air, their vertical distance travelled is same.
Let h be the vertical distance where collision is taking place.
Since they are projected at simultaneously, time taken to reach the collision point also same.

Hence, for particle-A,   begin mathsize 12px style h space equals space u cross times t space minus 1 half g cross times t squared space equals space 60 cross times sin 30 cross times t space minus space 1 half g cross times t squared space................... left parenthesis 1 right parenthesis end style
for particl-B,  begin mathsize 12px style h space equals space 50 cross times sin alpha cross times t space minus space 1 half g cross times t squared space................... left parenthesis 2 right parenthesis end style
from (1) and (2), 60×sin30 = 50×sinα  or  α = sin-1(3/5)
