Middle order anomaly is the deviation in properties of elements than expected. This is due to comparatively small size, high electronegativity than expected.
Oxides of Bromine are unstable due to comparatively larger size of Bromine than Oxygen.Due to this reason the bonding between Bromine and Oxygen are not stable at room temperature.
