Only one question should be asked in one posting. Too many questions should not be asked in one posting.
Hence only first question is answered.
----------------------------------------------------

Time period of simple pendulam in absence of electric field,  begin mathsize 14px style T space equals space 2 pi square root of l over g end root end style    ......................(1)
where l is length of pendulam and g is acceleration due to gravity.
While deriving the above relation, only force considered is the gravitational force mg for the pendulam
which is acting downwards.

In this problem, it is given that there is an electric field E in vertical direction that gives the force qE
in vertical direction for a sphere of mass m and charge q.

Since gravitational force is negligible compare to electrosatatic force, accelecration g can be replaced by
acceleration (qE/m) due to electrostatic force.

Then period T of simple pendulam,  begin mathsize 14px style T space equals space 2 pi square root of fraction numerator m space l over denominator q space E end fraction end root end style
