answered-by-expert Expert Answer
when the bob raised to 20 cm vertically high from the mean position, it gains potential energy.
The gained potential energy is fully converted into kinetic energy when it is passing through mean position.

Let h be the height raised and v is the speed at mean position.

then we have,  m×g×h = (1/2)×m×v, or v = begin mathsize 12px style square root of 2 g h end root space equals space square root of 2 cross times 9.8 cross times 20 cross times 10 to the power of negative 2 end exponent end root space equals space 1.98 space m divided by s end style
