number 1 to 10 are written in ten seprate slips and kept in the box and mix well. one slip is chosen from the box without looking it. what is the probability of getting number 6

Sample space = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10}→ n(S) = 10
 
Let A be the event of getting 6 from the sample space.
 
A= {6} → n(A) = 1
 
→ Probability of getting number 6 = n(A)/n(S) = 1/10
