The weight of the body is also a kind of force which acts in the downward direction. Now the force of attraction of Earth on a body is known as weight and is given as W = mg
So we calculate the weight exerted by the girl and the elephant using the formula W = mg, where m is the mass and g = 10 m/s2 .
Next, we use the formula for Pressure = Force/ Area = Weight/ Area
