- Diwan: He was the head of the revenue department.
- Mir bakshi: He was the head of the military department.
- Qazi: He was the chief judge.
- Vakil or Prime Minister: He looked after various important administrative matters. He also advised the king. However, Akbar later reduced the power of the vakil.
