Jahangir was a great lover of nature. He gave a detailed description of the flora and fauna in his autobiography Tuzuk-i-Jahangiri. From his autobiography, we conclude that he was a minute observer of nature and the different species of birds and animals. He was a scholar of botany and zoology.
