The definitions of melting point and boiling points are as follows:
Melting point: It is the temperature at which a matter in its solid state get converted into liquid state on heating.
Boiling point: It is the temperarture at which a matter in its liquid state get converted into vapour state on heating.
Example:
A solid like ice on heating get melted first to form liquid water at its melting point.
Then the liquid water on further heating get vapourised to form gaseous form of water that is steam at its boiling point.
Thus, solid has no boiling point. It first has to form liquid to get converted into vapour state.
The direct conversion of solid to vapour in some rare cases such as camphor, is called as sublimation and not boiling.

Hope it clears your doubt!
