Is there any other method other then gauss law to derive electric field due to thin sheet or plate or any example?

Hi Shreehari,

One can also find the electric field by using Coulomb's law.

However, this method is very tedious and time consuming.

So. Gauss' law is the ideal method to find the electric field.
