is the direction of the induced current given in figure 6.10
of ncert book physics is correct and in accordance to fleming's right hand rule?

According to Fleming's right hand rule, the magnetic field is directed into the paper, motion of PQ is towards left; so induced current in PQ flows from P to Q (i.e. clockwise in the loop).
