Juvenile stage denotes any postembryonic stage in the development of an organism that precedes the sexually mature adult stage.

Puberty refers to the process of physical changes by which a child's body becomes an adult body capable of reproduction. Here a sequence of events occur by which a child becomes a young adult.Puberty is characterized by secretions of hormones, development of secondary sexual characteristics, reproductive functions, and growth spurts.
