CBSE Class 9 Answered
Hitler was a dictator who believed in the racial superiority of the German Aryans. He wanted to make Germany a powerful country but to achieve his aims, he shamed humanity. He was responsible for the murder of millions of Jews not only in Germany but also in those countries which he invaded. He jailed and killed communists and all those people who spoke against him or his policies. Gas chambers were opened by him where Jews, communists, autistic, gypsies and physically unfit people were tortured and killed.
Hitler believed that a nation can become powerful by conquering other countries and by fighting wars. He forgot that a nation can become powerful only when economic policies benefiting its people are implemented and freedom of speech and expression is guaranteed. A country can become powerful only when all its citizens irrespective of class, race or gender are treated equally.
