Is Anthrax caused by any human beings?

Asked by 9th March 2009, 5:07 PM
Answered by Expert

No. Anthrax is caused by a spore-forming bacterium, Bacillus anthracis.

It is an infectious, usually fatal disease of warm-blooded animals, especially of cattle and sheep. The disease can be transmitted to humans through contact with contaminated animal substances, such as hair, feces, or hides.
