Is a pendulum's length is increased, will it gain time or loose time. Also if a second's pendulum's length is increased by 1%, what time is gained or lost by it in a day ?

Time period T = begin mathsize 12px style equals space 2 pi square root of L over g end root end style, where L is length and g is acceleration due to gravity.
since time period T begin mathsize 12px style proportional to square root of L end style, period increases by increasing the length of pendulam.
1% increase in length gives 2% increase in time period. Time period of pendulam is 1.02 s due to increase in length.
Clock based on this time period runs slow. Hence we are loosing time in a day that equals 24×60×60×0.02 seconds = 28 min 48 seconds
