inspite of solids having high density sound travel fastest through them....speed of sound is inversely proportional to density

The actual relationship is directly proportionl to the elasticity of the medium and inversely proportional to the density of the medium.
Since the elasticity of solids is very very high as compared to fluids, so we can say that elasticity is the more prominent factor in here,
