In YDSE the ratio of intensities of bright and dark bands is 16.Then,

a)Ratio of their amplitudes is 5

b)Intensities of the individual sources is 25 and 9 units

c)Ratio of their amplitudes is 4.

Answer:
Ratio of intensities of bright and dark band is 16.

Hence Imin/Imax = 1/16.
If a1 and a2 are amplitude of the waves, then Imax and Imin are proportional to (a1+a2)2 and (a1-a2)2 respectively

Let source intensities are S1 and S2 and they are proportional to square of the amplitudes a1 and a2
Hence source intensities S1 and Sare 25 and 9 units
