Expert Answer
Current always flows from positive terminal to negative terminal no matter how you have connected the circuit. The flow of electrons is from negative terminal to positive terminal i.e. in opposite direction of current flow.
Also remember that current is the scalar quantity as it does not obey the parallelogram law of vector addition . Current only represents the direction of flow of charges in the circuit.
