In two beakers (A and B) 50ml water of about 70 degrees each is taken. then in beaker A, 50ml of about 30 degrees is added and after 5 mins, in beaker B, 50ml of water of about 30 degrees is added. what would observe if the temperatures of both beakers recorded immediately? why ?

Expert Answer
Rate of heat flow from higher temperature to lower temperature. Rate of heat of transfer between two hot or cold body depends upon the temperature difference between them. That mean higher the difference higher will be heat transfer rate from hotter to colder body.
In Beaker A Temperature difference is 20C But Beaker B is placed in open area so it wil cool down itself in 5 minute and when we add water the temperature difference would be less than 20C
So Beaker A will cool down itself rather than Beaker B because of higher temperature difference. So temperature of B will be greater than as that of A
