Expert Answer
Bile contains bile pigments and bile salts. Bile salts help in the breakdown of oil droplets into small globules forming a milky emulsion. This process is called emulsification which facilitates further digestion of fats.
Steapsin is a pancreatic lipase which acts on the already emulsified fats and converts them to fatty acids and glycerol. Therefore, the process of emulsification of fats is carried out with the help of bile and not with the help of steapsin.
