In triangle ABC , AB=AC=x BC=10cm. Area of Triangle ABC =60cm² then x=? What will be the answer among option a)12cm b)13cm c)14cm d) none? *Explain the process and method used.*

In a Δ ABC , it is given that  AB = AC . Hence ΔABC is isocelles .
Median AD is perpendicular to base and BD = 5 cm becuase BD = (1/2) BC 
 
If area of triangle is 60 sq.cm , then we have , (1/2) BC × AD = 60   , Hence we get AD = 12 cm
 
Since ΔABD is right triangle , we have  begin mathsize 14px style A B space equals space square root of A D squared plus B D squared end root space equals space square root of 12 squared plus space 5 squared end root space equals space 13 space c m end style
