in this way, does the nematode dies or only the plant becomes resistant to it? please explain that process

Hi,

In natural habitat, the infected plants do not become resistant. Rather the nematode infection makes the plant susceptible to other diseases as well.

Nematode resistant tobacco plants are produced genetically and such plants are used to avoid infection.
