in the foll diagram, an arrow shows the motion of the coil towards the bar magnet. in which direction will the current flow, from A to B or B to A?

In the given diagram, the magnet is pulled out from the fixed coil which produces an opposite current, i.e. from B to A.
This is because the N-pole of the magnet is moving away from the coil AB, so the current will flow in a such a way that it will oppose the away moment of the N-pole and act as S-pole. Hence the direction of the current will be anti-clockwise.
