In the figure given below, the area of the parallelogram is 24 cm2 and the base is 4 cm. Find the height.

Area of the parallelogram is given as 24 cm2

base (b) = 4 cm ;

Let the height be h cm

Area = base (b) x height (h)

24 = 4 x h (swap both the sides)

4 x h = 24

h = 6 cm

Thus, the height of the parallelogram is 6 cm.
