When we make lemonade we should add sugar first.
If you add ice to water first & then sugar it'll take more time for sugar to dissolve completely.
As we know solubility increases when temperature increases. So, when you add sugar at normal temperature it'll take less time & energy to dissolve it.
After suger dissolves completely you can add ice to it.
