If we put a convex lens to a liquid having the refractive index more than the lens itself than what will be the effect seen in the nature of the image

In that case the light going into the lens will diverge instead of converging so, the lense would efectively work as a diverging lens.
the effect on focal length can be shown by using lens makers formula.
