Let AB and CD be the two chords.

Construct OM AB and ON CD

In OME and ONE,

1 = 2        (given)

OME = ONE = 90o

OE = OE          (common)

By AAS congruence rule,

OM = ON        (c.p.c.t)

Hence, AB = CD

(Since, chords equidistant from the centre are equal)
