If three lines whose equations are y = mx + a, y = nx + b and y = px + c are concurrent, then show that m (b - c) + n (c - a) + p (a - b) = 0.

 The equations of lines are

            y = mx + a                                           --- (i)
            y = nx + b                                            --- (ii)
And      y = px + c                                            --- (iii)
Subtracting equation (i) from (ii),
            0 = (m - n)x + a - b
