If the radius of the cone is doubled, what will be the effect on its volume?

Let V be the volume of the original cone of height h and radius r. Then,

When radius is doubled, new radius is 2r. Let V1 be the volume of the new cone.

Thus, volume of the new cone is 4 times the volume of the original cone.
