if the obect's weight is less than the buoyant force then it floats . So if the weight of an object is equal to the buoyant force then will the object float or sink . Explain

When the forces are equal, the body will float. In other terms, if the density of the body and the fluid is same the body will float. It's just like weightlessness. When the two forces cancel each other, the body feels "weightlessness" and floats in the fluid.
