(3x-8y+5) + λ(5x-3y+10) = 0
x(3 + 5λ) + y(-8 - 3λ) + (5 + 10λ) = 0
As we know, equation of x-axis, y = 0.
Since, two llines are parallel, slope of x - axis is equal to slope of the given line.
Slope of x - axis is zero. (since, y = 0)
In x(3 + 5λ) + y(-8 - 3λ) + (5 + 10λ) = 0,
