IF LIQUIDS HAVE NO DEFINITE SHAPE THEN WHY THEY HAVE A DEFINITE VOLUME ?

Expert Answer
Because the molecules within a liquid are arranged in such a way that they can freely move around. This means that unlike a solid, a liquid can continuously change shape.
the intermolecular force in liquid is not much strong as it is in solid. so there is no sufficient force there to bind then together very closely, they can take any size . but the amount of molecule remain same that cant be changed o the volume remains same.
A liquid has a fixed size because its volume remains constant; no matter what shape it is in, assuming that no more liquid has been added or taken away, there are always the same number of molecules.
