A U B={3,5,11,2,7,9}

So

n(AUB)=6....... i.e. the number of elements of the set AUB is 6.

alt method

n(AUB)=n(A)+n(B)-n(A intersection B)

but in this case, A int B is an empty set.

so n(A int B)=0

so y this formula also you get answer

3+3-0=6

so n(AUB)=6
