Hi Mayank,

Hormones are chemical messengers that are secreted directly into the blood, which carries them to various parts of the body to exert their functions / effects.

Hormones are found in both plants and animals. 

Example of the plant hormones are: 

Auxins, cytokines, gibberellines.

Example of the animal hormones are: 

Insulin, estrogen, testosterone.
