(i) Bauxite is the most common ore of aluminium.

(ii) Mineral:The naturally occuring compounds  of metals which are generally mixed with other matter such as soil,sand,limestone and rocks are known as minerals.

(iii) Bauxite : Al2O3.2H2O

(iv) Cryolite and Fluorspar

(1) It reduces the melting point or fusion temperature of pure alumina.

(2) To increase the electrical conductivity of the electrolyte.

(3) Cryolite acts as a solvent.
