i hv 1 doubt regarding this answer... the textbook says that static friction is smaller than sliding friction so rolling friction should also be smaller than static friction. i am confused about fluid friction...........

Sliding friction is always less than static friction because two sliding objects find less time to get interlocked against each others irregularities of surfaces as a result of which they experience less friction.

When a body moves in a fluid or in air then there exists a resistive force which slows down the motion of the body, this is known as fluid frictional force.
